Council is pleased to announce that, after careful consideration and clarification of the current COVID-19 public health orders, our Companion Animal Shelter has resumed collecting stray and lost animals – with additional safeguards now in place to protect staff and the public.
If anyone finds a stray animal, please call the Council on 4560 4444 and they will be collected.
Do not bring them into the Shelter yourself.
The operation of the Shelter, as with all Council facilities, is carried out with the best interests of public health and safety in mind. All efforts are being made to reduce the movement of people across our LGA and reduce the interactions between our staff and the public wherever possible while COVID-19 continues to spread in Greater Sydney.
