For people impacted by bushfire, the NSW Bushfire Customer Care Service will help you navigate the support and financial assistance that's available across all levels of government.
Service NSW is providing one-on-one support for people and businesses, available over the phone or in-person.

We are wondering what, if any, community activities or memorials might like our support over the next couple of months. It is also completely ok not to want to do anything!Red Cross say that often the anticipation of an anniversary is more difficult and painful than the day (or days) itself. Some people may attend community memorials, others will choose to spend time with family and friends. For others it may be important to spend some time alone. Dr Rob Gordon has a short video about this time HEREIf you would like to do something in your community during this time, please get in touch. Also, please be aware that there are still a range of supports available during this time. For homes constructed from other building materials, Brickworks will assist the re-build with 50% off all materials in the Brickworks Building Products portfolio. This includes bricks, pavers, roof tiles, masonry blocks and retaining walls.
If you or someone you know has recently lost their home to the bushfires, please contact us on 13 27 42, or fill out the application form below.
For any bushfire victims who had built their home with Austral Bricks, Brickworks Building Products will replace all the bricks, free of charge, including delivery.

The Salvation Army has the following grants available to assist people impacted by the 2019-2020 bushfires.
Assessment for a Bushfire Recovery Grant is based on an individual needs basis and has the following criteria:
- Suffered loss from the 2019-2020 bushfires
- At the time of the bushfires, lived or worked in a bushfire affected area
- Over 18 years old
- One grant per household
Additionally, each grant has its own verification requirements. However, if youโve previously been assessed by The Salvation Army for bushfire assistance (2019-2020 bushfires), you do not need to provide these verification documents again.

The grants will be used to repair or replace essential items damaged or lost in the bushfires, such as:
ว Equine facilities e.g. fencing, shelters and outdoor arenas
ว Gear e.g. bridles, saddles,
ว Training or competition equipment e.g. show jumping poles
ว Feed/hay
ว Floats
