The Kurrajong to Kurmond Cycleway Project will construct a shared pedestrian and cycle path alongside Bells Line of Road and Old Bells Line of Road, between Kurmond and Kurrajong.
These works will complete a continuous off-road link between North Richmond and Kurrajong, supporting Council’s and the community’s goal to increase active transport and recreation use by residents and tourists.
Community Consultation seeking feedback on the cycleway concept plans was conducted in April and May 2024 and the detailed design is underway. Construction of the cycleway project is not anticipated to be completed until the end of 2026. More information will be provided to the community in the future.
The Kurrajong to Kurmond Cycleway is funded by the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants program in association with Hawkesbury City Council.

Council is inviting the community to 'Have Your Say' on the proposed concept plans for the Kurrajong to Kurmond Cycleway.
Community consultation will be open from "DATE". Please complete the survey below before 11.59pm Sunday DATE.
Submissions can be made via the survey tab below, In Person at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor, Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm or in writing addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756. Written submissions will be received until 5pm on Friday, 14 March 2025.
