BOWEN MOUNTAIN HUB

We know from your feedback that the Bowen Mountain Community Hub has been a positive place where community have been able to come together to connect with other community members. We are pleased to have been able to support you with connection to each other and to a range of services, including, mental health supports, exercise, art, and craft classes, improved digital literacy skills and many other special activities.

The Community Hubs have been a place to gather, discuss issues and celebrate all things Hawkesbury. The Community hubs has facilitated many services and organisations to come together and hear from you about important issues affecting your communities.

The Hubs project at Bowen Mountain finished on Monday 11 December 2023

The funding, post the 2019/20 bushfires for this project has been completed.

We are most grateful to have been able to assist the Bowen Mountain community with activities, events, and resources. We wish the community well and hope we have assisted in connecting community and building capacity for Bowen Mountain residents.

Bowen Mountain residents are most welcome to attend any of the three remaining Hubs returning from February 14, 2024.

These are :

  • Wilberforce Hub – Wilberforce School of Arts – Wednesday 14 February 2024
  • Colo Heights Hub – Colo Heights Hall - Thursday 15 February 2024
  • St Albans Hub – St Albans School of Arts - Friday 16 February 2024

These Community Hubs will continue through a transition phase into mid 2024 under alternative funding.

We sincerely thank you for your support in attending the Hubs over the past 12 months and we wish all Community members a Marry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
