    Hawkesbury City Council is hosting 5 free webinars to support businesses in the local area. From getting COVID safe to getting your sales online – these quick and helpful sessions provide a range of topics designed to help you upskill fast.

    Event Description:

    The program is designed to provide you with a choice of topics starting with Session 1 - an inspirational session sharing some of the great marketing and product initiatives that have emerged over the last 6 months in response to rapidly changing marketing conditions.

    Session 2 will focus on how to understand your customer, how COVID may have changed them and what you can do to ensure your product and services meet their needs.

    Already online or using social media but not getting much action? In Session 3 you will learn simple tools to get the most out of your online investment.

    Session 4 will talk safety, sustainability and adaptability – it will share advice and ideas about how to build a solid foundation for your business that can withstand external impacts.

    Council in partnership with the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a series of webinars and online discussion throughout the month of October focusing on supporting our small business through disruptions.

    With floods, bushfires and COVID challenging our business community in 2020, its time to invest in learning about how these challenges can help redirect and refocus business as they begin to think about what recovery will look like for them.

    October is Small Buisness Month. Council and the chamber have partnered together to bring a series of speakers to help our Business see opportunities as they recover from the disruptions of 2020. Robert Gerrish, Small Business expert and regular presenter on Small Business on the 7 network, will be our key note speaker and will focus on Thinking outside the Box through Disruption.

    Other speakers will include Anna Samos speaking How small businesses succeed and why the rest don’t, Kristie Petersen from the Rural Financial Counselling Service will take you through Small Business Tips and Linden Regina from the ATO will be able to help you with questions you may have on setting up a business and Home Based Business Package.
