Council resolved to place on public exhibition for a period of 28 days the Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy.

Under the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to review and adopt its Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities Policy within 12 months of the commencement of each term of Council. As part of this process, Council is also required to give public notice of the proposed adoption of the Policy for the making of public submissions.

At its meeting of 22 July 2025, Council resolved to place the Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

Council's Draft Policy will be available for view and comment by:

Visiting Council's website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au via the Have Your Say tab

Visiting Council's Administration Building between 9am and 4pm

  • Monday to Friday at 366 George Street, Windsor from Friday, 1 August 2025 to Thursday, 28 August 2025.

If you would like to make a submission, please click on the Survey tab at the bottom of this page. If you wish to make a submission in writing, please quote Reference: ‘Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy’ and send in writing, addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or by email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au up to close of business on Thursday, 28 August 2025.

Council will consider all submissions received at a subsequent Council Meeting.

Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.
