BizRebuild was on the ground in the Hawkesbury

BizRebuild was on the ground in the Hawkesbury from 10 June to 12 June to meet with with Council staff and to provide support to around 20 business owners across the Hawkesbury.

BizRebuild were able to provide some immediate relief through the distribution of re-tooling and service vouchers totalling $23,000 for the region.

St Albans resident, Pinny Kong said: “We were very lucky to get a $500 voucher from BizRebuild last week to help pay off some of the money we owe our accountant, as we would not be receiving any income this year because of the bushfire, flood then COVID-19”.

BizRebuild specifically focuses on providing businesses:

👉Information on and assistance with navigating the available COVID-19 and bushfire related financial support for NSW businesses, such as state and federal government administered grants, loans and other available financial assistance
👉One-on-one assistance with completing application forms for COVID-19 and bushfire related financial support applicable to NSW businesses
👉More general business related information and, where possible, putting businesses in touch directly with external business specialists through their network of business community members.
👉A dedicated mental health and trauma expert for private and confidential counselling and support.

Council encourages other businesses to come forward if they require assistance by contacting bizrebuild@bca.com.au or visiting www.bizrebuild.com.au
