Do you care about sustainability and want to see our environment protected? Do you want young people to have a strong voice in planning for the future? Are you ready to think creatively about tackling climate change, and complex challenges facing the Hawkesbury?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!
Council is putting on a Youth Forum for young people aged 12 to 24. Council wants to know what you want for Your Hawkesbury to help find ways of living more sustainably and inform our future climate change and sustainability planning. Through collaborative workshop activities, the Forum will establish a Statement from the Next Generation – on some of the most important challenges and opportunities facing our time.
We are expecting to hold the Forum in the beginning of June, and are open to suggestions about best timing.
