Consultation has concluded

Hawkesbury City Council is currently reviewing its Councillor and Staff Interaction Policy which provides a framework for Councillors when accessing Council information related to their civic duties and their interactions with Council staff.

This Policy works in conjunction with Council's Code of Conduct and reflects the Office of Local Government's best practice approach to interactions between Councillors and Council staff. Council is undertaking community consultation over the coming month to provide you an opportunity for input on the Policy prior to its adoption.

All submissions will be considered and may be included in a Council meeting business paper. Your submission, and any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary, however, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.
