UPDATE - 12 July 2023: We have uploaded higher definition designs to this page for the community to review.

Council has commissioned a design for a BMX pump track at Colonial Reserve in Bligh Park.

In March and April 2022, Bligh Park and South Windsor residents were given the opportunity to choose whether they wanted a BMX pump track or a skate park, and whether they wanted it at Colonial Reserve or at Mileham Avenue Reserve. More than 900 responses were received with an overwhelming majority - 60 per cent - voting for a BMX pump track at Colonial Reserve.

It will be built near the intersection of Colonial Drive and Guardian Crescent next to the new playground.

Off-road cycling facility designers Dirtz were engaged to create designs for the track, and as part of the design, consultation with the Hawkesbury BMX Club is also being undertaken.

Hawkesbury City Council is now inviting the community to provide feedback on these draft designs.

The designs can be viewed any time via the documents tab to the right of this screen.

You may submit your feedback via the survey below up to 11.59pm on Sunday, 6 August 2023.

Once designs are complete, Council will be able to pursue funding opportunities for its construction.
