Hawkesbury City Council is preparing a Plan of Management and Landscape Masterplan for Colbee Park, McGraths Hill, to facilitate greater community use and enjoyment of the reserve. The plans will guide future use, management and long-term recreation opportunities to be provided at the park.

Community consultation is a vital part of the planning process and your contribution is welcomed. Please see details in the news feed regarding opportunities to provide input.

Development of the Plan of Management and Landscape Masterplan does not represent a formal commitment to funding. These plans will be guiding documents; their main purpose is to consider and allow for appropriate usage and to prioritise potential capital works projects to further the recreational opportunities of the site whilst ensuring all values are protected. It is not anticipated that full development of the park will be completed in the short to medium term.

    Colbee Park Draft Landscape Masterplan – Priority Projects – Survey 2

    A range of works will be necessary at Colbee Park to improve safety and enhance the use of the site. Initial site works have already been prioritised for funding including car park improvements, better pathways and partial closure of the open drain.
