Australian singer Frank Ifield came to Windsor recently to Ring the Bell to Save Our Historic Windsor Bridge after signing the petition.

British-born country singer and yodeller, Frank Ifield, was one of the first Australian post-war performers to gain widespread international recognition. He recorded ‘I Remember You’ in a yodelling country-music style on 27 May 1962, and his version went to number one on the UK Singles Chart selling 1.1 million copies in the UK alone.

It was wonderful to have “Frank Ifield sign the petition to save our Windsor Bridge”, the Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert said.

Sign the petition and ring the bell at the Museum and also contact NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian via www.nsw.gov.au/premier-of-nsw/contact-premier or tweet @GladysB on Twitter and mention @GladysB on Instagram or tag @gladysnsw on Facebook to save Our Historic Windsor Bridge.
