Proposed naming of Building within Governor Phillip Park

Notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy and the NSW Address Policy and User Manual and by resolution dated 2 June 2026 is seeking public comment regarding the naming of the building located within Governor Phillip Park, 1a Livingston Street, Windsor as ‘Windsor River Users Hub’. 

The Windsor River Users Hub Project is being delivered by Council and is funded by the Australian Government’s Thriving Suburbs Program.

Submissions on the proposed names are invited and will be received by Council until 5pm Wednesday, 29 July 2026.  Submissions should be addressed to the General Manager and can be mailed to PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or online at Your Hawkesbury Your Say up to close of business.

Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Information contained in submission may, at the discretion of Hawkesbury City Council, be referred to the person (s) who initiated the proposal for appropriate consideration. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.
