Hawkesbury City Council is developing a Plan of Management for the following Windsor Foreshore Parks;

  • Deerubbin Park
  • Howe Park
  • Hollands Paddock
  • Thompson Square
  • Windsor Wharf Reserve
  • Governor Phillip Park

Windsor Foreshore Parks are an important area of public open space for the local community, the broader Hawkesbury community and visitors to the Hawkesbury. These parks have a diverse range of cultural, sporting and recreational uses, all ideally positioned on the Hawkesbury River foreshore.

PLAN OF MANAGEMENT

It’s time to review and renew previous planning for the Windsor Foreshore Parks, and to put in place a new Plan of Management to guide management, maintenance, usage and directions that can meet the future needs of the community.

HAVE YOUR SAY

We're interested in how you see and use the Windsor Foreshore Parks now, and what you think would help to make then even better to use in the future.

The Windsor Foreshore Parks Plan of Management will replace the current Plan of Management, which was adopted in 2013 and will also incorporate land left over from the Windsor Bridge Project that was finalised in 2020.

Council is inviting the community to have their say on what will be considered and included in the Windsor Foreshore Park Plan of Management!

How you can 'Have Your Say'.

In person at Council's pop-up in Windsor Mall on Thursday, 11 June between 3pm and 5pm.
