Under Section 38B of the Roads Act 1993, notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council will consider the closing of a road in connection with an application proposed by Council.
The road under consideration comprises part of the Council unformed public road known as the section of Laws Farm Road, Cumberland Reach (shown on the map below). Upon closure vest the land in the Crown for disposal action to be taken by the Crown.
Council will receive submissions regarding the Proposal. All submissions received will be considered in reaching a decision regarding the proposed road closing.
Please complete the submission form below or forward your submission to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756; in person at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor; by email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au; up to close of business on Thursday, 22 October 2020.
Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Information contained in submission may, at the discretion of Hawkesbury City Council and the NSW Department of Industry - Lands, be referred to the person (s) who initiated the proposal for appropriate consideration. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.
