Proposal to Build a Rural Fire Brigade Station at West Portland Road Reserve

The Hawkesbury Rural Fire Service (HRFS) is seeking to construct a new Brigade Station at West Portland Road Reserve. The Reserve is located at 820 West Portland Road. The building proposed is approximately 14m by 15m and will be set back from the road.

As the proposed site is Crown Land under Council’s care and control, and a fire station is not currently permitted on the site, amendments to the controls applying to the reserve are required.

The community is invited to provide comment on the proposed new Fire Brigade Station. A report to Council outlining details of the building proposal can be found in the document library.

The last day for the receipt of submissions is 5pm Friday, 18 March 2015.
