Council invites the community to ‘Have Your Say’ on the proposed inclusions for North Richmond Community Precinct.

Community Consultation will be open from Wednesday, 04 June 2025. Please complete the survey below before 11.59pm on Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

Submissions can be made via the survey tab below, or in writing addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756. Written submissions will be received until 5pm on Wednesday, 18 June 2025. Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Proposed new facility

Following changes to the site layout, rising construction costs, and a clearer understanding of community needs, Council is seeking to refine the design of the North Richmond Community Precinct. We’re now seeking further input from the community to help us focus on what matters most. Your feedback will guide the next stage of planning, ensuring the project delivers the greatest value for the community while meeting the requirements of the available funding.

The proposed new facility is expected to accommodate the following functions

Fit for purpose emergency evacuation centre

Community centre

Combined performing arts and rehearsal space

Youth space

Art Studio / makers space

Indoor sporting space

Branch library service

Council Customer Service desk

Improved outdoor areas.
