Naming - North Richmond Community Hub
Council resolved at its Meeting on 2 June 2026 to publicly exhibit the proposed names for the site and buildings being delivered as part of WSIG. This consultation is to seek the communities feedback on the proposed names.
Notice is hereby given that Hawkesbury City Council, in accordance with the Geographical Names Act 1966 and pursuant to its resolution of 2 June 2026, is seeking public comment on the proposed naming of the Community Hub located at 33 William Street, North Richmond as the “North Richmond Community Hub.”
The proposal further includes naming the three buildings within the precinct as the “North Richmond Youth Centre,” “North Richmond Community Centre,” and “Hawkesbury Branch Library – North Richmond.”
The Community Hub is being delivered by Council as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Project.

Submissions on the proposed names are invited and will be accepted by Council up until Wednesday 29, July 2026 at 5:00pm.
