Cycleway Project Gaining Momentum

Progress is continuing on the certified lighting design approvals with Endeavour Energy, with indicative timeframes now identified for key areas of the project.

Lighting design approvals are currently targeted for completion by October 2026, subject to Endeavour Energy’s review schedule.

Intersection lighting upgrade works will be prioritised and delivered first, as these are required to meet mandatory safety and compliance standards. Delivery of lighting for Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the cycleway will follow, subject to the availability of surplus funding.

In parallel, the project’s 50% design has been submitted to Transport for NSW and is currently under review. Further progress on detailed design and delivery will continue following this approval.
