Have your say on the new PCYC Hawkesbury - November 2019

We want to know what’s needed to better support the health and wellbeing of young people and the community in the Hawkesbury area.

Please complete this short survey to have your say on what the new PCYC Hawkesbury in Windsor should look like to best fit the community’s needs.

About the project:

Hawkesbury City Council is transferring the operations and management of the Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium from the YMCA to Police and Citizens Youth Club NSW (PCYC). As part of the handover, the stadium will undergo significant refurbishment of up to $15 million. The redevelopment will include upgrades to the indoor court facilities as well as a mix of opportunities for recreation, socialising and sports.

PCYC is working closely with YMCA and Council on this project to ensure minimal disruption to local residents and a smooth transition of existing operations to the new facility. PCYC has recently appointed JOC Consulting to undertake Stage 1 engagement with community and stakeholders to identify community needs. This engagement will inform the architects, Allen Jack+Cottier Architects, and ensure concept designs are tailored to meet specific needs of the community and address any concerns. Stage 2 engagement will take place early to mid 2020.

Keep posted via this website on upcoming opportunities for being involved and having a say.
