Playground and Reserves Update

PLAYGROUNDS & RESERVES - RECOVERY UPDATE
Repair work is continuing on several of our Playgrounds and Reserves after they were impacted by the recent flood event.
Here is the latest update;
*Governor Phillip Park Playground – NOW OPEN! The waterplay is currently not operational.
*Church Street Reserve Playground – NOW OPEN!
*Macquarie Park – NOW OPEN - more work is required at this location including; bollard replacement, signage installation, playground fence repair, replace rubber sections of the playground (playground is still usable), access to one or two toilets is limited, the canoe ramp is not operational, the BBQs are currently not operational. The community accessing the river and beach area should take care as the flood has altered that area and there may be logs and other items within the river itself that were not previously there.
*Howe Park - CLOSED - The Luke Worsley Bridge is currently closed, handrail will need repair work, ongoing clean up of debris, fitness equipment softfall replacement, replacement of park furniture and rubbish bins.
*Hawkesbury Park – CLOSED - Replacement of softfall is currently underway, ongoing debris clean up, playground currently fenced off.
*Hanna Park - CLOSED - Ongoing tree work and sediment removal to lower section.
*Yarramundi Reserve & Navua Reserve - NOW OPEN!
*Windsor Wharf Reserve - CLOSED - the pontoon is being re-instated today and will continue Monday.
