Exhibition of Draft Section 64 Contribution Plan - Stormwater Infrastructure for Pitt Town - Contribution Area 2, June 2016

Consultation has concluded

Council is exhibiting the Draft Section 64 Contribution Plan - Stormwater Infrastructure for Pitt Town - Contribution Area 2, June 2016 (draft contribution plan).

The draft contribution plan generally applies to land within the vicinity of Hall Street and Hawkesbury Street, Pitt Town. The purposes of the draft contribution plan are to provide an administrative framework under which specific stormwater infrastructure is provided and land acquired in order to allow large lot residential development within the contribution area, authorise Council to impose conditions under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993 when granting consent to development on land to which the plan applies, and enable the Council to be both publicly and financially accountable in it’s assessment and administration of the contribution plan.

The draft contribution plan and supporting documentation are on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 1 July 2016 to Friday 29 July 2016 and can be viewed on Council’s website at: http://www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/development/development-information/planning-policies or in the Document Library on this page.

Written submissions concerning the draft contribution plan may be made to Council throughout the abovementioned exhibition period. Submissions should be referenced “Draft Section 64 Contribution Plan – Stormwater Infrastructure for Pitt Town – Contribution Area 2, June 2016” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or in the SUBMISSION FORM on this page throughout the exhibition period.

The last day for the receipt of submissions is Friday 29 July 2016.

Please note confidentiality is not available to respondents. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Access to Information policy.
