Consultation has concluded

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking community comment on the Draft Access and Inclusion Plan.

The Plan identifies actions to be undertaken by Council to promote access and inclusion and non-discriminatory practices in the provision of services and the operation of facilities for the benefit of residents and visitors to the Hawkesbury. The Plan is also intended to provide guidance to community groups and the business sector on the practical implementation of access and inclusion strategies.

We invite you to review the Draft Access and Inclusion Plan and provide your feedback by 5.00pm 19 September 2014.

    Hawkesbury City Council now offers the opportunity for businesses in the Hawkesbury to improve access to their premises.

    Council officers will support your business to undertake an access and inclusion audit and grants.

    Grants are available on a 50:50 basis to assist in funding access upgrades.
